The clear, simple use of shapes and a consistent relinquishing of superficial decorative elements characterise the style of Ole Palsby. He pays particular attention on the innovative conceptual approach of individual products and collections he designs.
The Danish designer only turned a career into a vocation in a roundabout way. Via marketing household products Ole Palsby, a qualified banker, turned to design only when he was over 30. In the meantime his seemingly puristic designs have earned him the rank of an internationally recognised designer. For WMF and a number of other companies Ole Palsby has designed a multitude of well known, successful products, many of which have received design awards.
